Hi, I have applied a torque on a body and see that it is twisting. How would I measure this twist?
I set a displacement plot to measure the movement in one direction and then simply find the degrees traveled.
Is this method accurate? Is there a better way?
You can measure the strain in r, theta, z. In the X,Y,Z normal strain, select the axis. x=r, y=theta, z=z. You will see the cylindrical C.S on the right bottom corner.
