Does anyone know how I can change my settings so the datacards for files don't pop up when we create files?
in SolidWorks, click on the Enterprise PDM dropdown and select options. uncheck the box marked "Show File data card when new file is saved". this should take care of it.
Are you using EPDM Templates to create your files? If so, then there's an option in the File Properties to not show the card.
If not, where are you creating the files for the data cards to show up? That might help everyone answer your question a little easier.
We use a template to create our .sldprt files (which I want to show up), but when i create a drawing from the part and save it, the system displays the drawing card when I hit save...this is sort of annoying, becasue the info that I care about I have already entered at the part level and is already populated on the drawing card. It is just one step that really doesn't add any value and I was hoping to eliminate it.
Does that make sense? Thanks for trying to help.

That is it! I knew I had seen it somewhere but couldn't remember....seems so obvious now. Thanks so much.
