I am building a HP Z800 workstation to use 3D Via Composer for documentation building for engineering files. I want to use the Space Pilot Pro but don't know if it's compatible with Composer 2012. I just purchased the Composer 2012 and can't find any copatibility info for the Space Pilot Pro. Not on their website either. Does anyone know if it's compatible with Composer 2012 before I buy? I'm running Composer 2012 with a SP Pro and the beta driver with no problems. Works like a champ! There is no direct plugin, but the beta driver that lets you work with other programs has been working very well for me. I did have some issues with Composer 2011, and have not upgraded to 2012X yet but 2012 is solid.

3d Connexion download area. I really like the looks and features of the Space Mouse Pro that 3d Connexion just came out with though! you should check it out. The pro has too many buttons for me, but still works awesome! Lost without one.
Are you guys sure that we can configure Space Pilot Pro buttons with 3Dvia Composer commands? jus lyk with SolidWorks?
Sid, I tend to no use all the buttons on the Pro, but I'll give it a shot. I use it mostly in Composer to just get the right view angle. It's much more precise and easy to use than the mouse. I'll let you know. Standby.
Not sure what is going on, but my SP Pro and the beta driver are now acting funny with Composer, and has even caused Composer to crash on several occasions. Not sure what has changed, but I'm using it alot less in Composer right now. Have tried all the driver re-installs, etc. but it's still causing some type of issue.
Uninstalled the beta driver, and went with the regular approved driver and all is well again.
