If the features are adding bodies then you can RMB on the feature in the FM tree in your drawing and hide them individually for that view. If the added features are removing material (extruded cuts, etc.) then I am not aware of any way to hide them in a drawing without using configurations.
In addition to what Glenn said you need to make sure that the features are not children of each other
or when you hide them they will all hide.
Meaning if you hide the parent the children will hide as well.
I am afraid that you are already doing it the best way.
