Just starting in Routing. I've gone through the electrical tutorials, and have been searching the web, but I can't figure this out.
I'm wanting to do something like this:
But in Routing, not a static model of it.
We have standard 8' power cords that we install on products, and I would like to represent that in the model, without having to have 8' of snaked cord.
Is this possible?
I'm sure someone will have a better answer than me, but I did something similar to this and had to use Route Points and Axis through my wire ties. One RP and Axis for each wire, so you can see the tediousness of the exercise.
One problem you'll encounter is lopping the spline around in 3d space without causing SolidWorks to choke on itself. I tried doing something like that with a condensation loop, and I had to manually draw out the spline and make sure it didn't intersect itself. Again, doable, but tedious.
