I'm trying to set up a standard drawing sheet with titleblock, blocks, etc..  I created a custom section marker and turned it into a block.  After exploding the block there were individual parts of the block as I had expected, however the insert point is also an individual item.  I can delete the lines and text just fine but I can't delete the insert point, I can only move it.  I've attached a screenshot if that helps, which shows the block on the left, the exploded section marker in the center, and off to the right is an individual insert point.  Does anyone know how to delete the insert point?
