Welcome to SolidWorks forums Raja.
There are two different things:
One is Sheet format (which can be changed by right clicking on the sheet, select properties and then select the required sheet format)
Second is drawing template (for which there is no direct option but a macro is available). Check here
So now based on your requirements, choose the required way.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried it but it is not working. whether it will work only up to 2008 version? Because we are using 2011. we have followed the steps as it is mentioned in the link you have sent, but nothing happened.
Welcome to the forum.
What Deepak said should work.
When you RC on the sheet format in the feature manager
and you select properties do you get this?
If you do not get a list here or when you select the browse button, then what you probably
need to do is call up each of your drawing formats and do a file save as then save as sheet format.
Thank you Mr.Scott & Mr.Deepak, its working now.. Thanks for your tips.
This is exactly what I was looking for this morning. Unlike some other users, I have had no issues with the swapping of the drawing templates. I have not tried to change any other properties, just the template. Thanks for this.
Could you please check my post:
Drawing update macro: sheet format - ok, colors (dimensions, centerlines, center marks, datum tags) - ok, drawing template - missing, colors (balloons, cut list properties note, tolerance boxes) - missing. Could anyone help?
I'm sure you can help me with that, especjally when it comes to drawing template.
Thanks a lot.
With SW 2012, SP3.0, this method of changing the sheet format continues to be unreliable and frustrating. Solidworks insists on loading apparently random sheet formats (I have several in different directories), despite browsing to and selecting the desired sheet format. It is as if instead of loading the selected sheet format, SW looks through the available sheet formats directories and picks the first sheet format it finds.
Multiple attempts are required, and about 25% of the time, SW has a heart-stopping fault and closes. I have sent dozens of fault reports to SW on this issue (starting with SW2012 SP0.0), but the issue remains.
