the assembly i made i want that one configuration will be that in which all the jecks are closed and other opened but when i do that it becomes in both . i.e if in opened configuration i open yhe jecks it opens in the closed configuration also...

How you're defining the mates? You can suppress/unsuppress mates for specific configuration.
i am changiing nothing in mates, from the main aseembly i just open the sub assembly of jeck and fully open the jecks in their sub assembly and then then rebuild , and in the main assemblly they are fully opened. mean i am just changing the display or position nothing else.
So you need opened in sub assembly and closed in main assembly or reverse. Please explain.

i need to make the two configurations in which one is for opened jecks and other is for closed jecks . jecks are limit mated , so what i do is i open the sub assemly and open the jecks for open configurationn and rebuild it. and then creat the other configuration for the closed position , in that configuration i go to the sub assembly of the jeck again and then i close the jecks and rebuild the closed position of main assembly is achived, but when i select the opened configuration again it is also closed,
so i need this with out changing mates, i,e i need the change in position or display only
Why don't you make two configurations in the sub assembly i.e. one open and one closed. And then in the main assembly use each configuration as required.
if i do this i will not have the working ability for the jecks i.e the will be opened or closed they will not work by dragging
I am assuming you are attempting to 'reset' your asembly to the open and closed position after dragging. If you have 3 configurations... Free, Open and Closed then you should be able to do this.
In the Open and Closed configurations suspress the limit mates and define a fixed one with the relevant dimensions. Then, whenever you want to 'reset' the assembly select either the Open or Closed configuration then select your Free configuration again to allow for dragging the components as you please.
Remember that you need to have the Open and Closed configurations both in the subassembly where it is defined and in the top level assembly where it is activated.

i made three configuration in sub assembly of jecks one default with limit mate and two othe one opened and one closed , and used as per need
Now how can i make the animation in motion study Via changing in configuration???? mean i created a new motion study and dragged the slide baar on time line 10 seconds far and then changed configuration of the asembly from opened to closed and played the animation no animation created for opening and closing ??? why??? while i hade enabled key creation by right clicking
Can you upload the files and I can have a look at it or better use angel mates and then you can change the value in the animation study to show the open/closed effect.
YES SUre i will do it. but i chabged the procedure for the opening and closing. i deleted the configuration and what i have done now is
i opened the sub assembly of the jecks and fully open it , and then rebuilded it and came to main assembly the position s of the jecks were fully opened here. so i saved that position in the configuration named "Opened" and then created a new configuration named "Closed" and in this configuration i again opened the sub assembly of the jecks and closed the position of jecks and repeated rebuilding , now it was updated in main assembly .
