Saving Toolbox part as a new part problem

Why does SW decide to replace one part with another part automatically with the original toolbox part?

I drop a toolbox part into an assembly such as a jig bushing and then do a FILE SAVEAS and give the toolbox part a new name & new folder, then save & close the assembly. Then I reopen that assembly and it loads the original toolbox part that I dropped into the assembly. If I've modified that part I don't want it to load the original toolbox part. The first pic is an altered toolbox bushing saved & the 2nd is after opening it back up.

Also if you modify that part & save it as a new file name it shouldn't keep the toolbox part flag. After all it's no longer a standard toolbox part. saveasnew.JPGreopen.JPG
