Can we use solidworks using RDP (Remote Desktop)?
It does work, but it's not as fast as sitting there. Any time you have to rotate or zoom, the screen repaints line by line. On a slow connection that is quite painful.
Here is a comparison of RDP versions. I use it, but only when I know I don't need to work on drawings (just models). It is slow but it works over LAN. WAN through VPN, not so much. I've found that it causes graphics issues on the client when you log in after using an RDP session. Closing and reopening on first use seems to help. You obviously can't take advantage of any of the GPU with RDP, yet....
