Hi all,

It is my understanding that SW won't do this from the tangent mate matrix, but I have a pin that has a spherical tip for which I have made a concentric mate for the pin into a hole,  but would like to also create a tangent mated to position the pin parallel along its axis.

I guess I can see where this would be a problem if the surface would allow multiple tangent conditions, but in the case of a single tangency point, seems that SW could do this........However, as I'm not writing the code for SW, easier said than done.

Anyway, I was wondering if someone had any work arounds for this.

Second picture was just moving the pin till it poked through the surface I want to have it positioned tangent to.
