I wanted to take away a curiosity.
It's possible to use soliworks to calculate distributed loads on the pillars of a machine?
Let me explain and I enclose a picture;
I have an assembly of a certain weight,
This assembly/machine have a few points of support,
Should SWX indicate how much weight is loaded on each point of support?
You can check with Solidworks PROFESSIONAL?

There are lots of other ways, but they all involve spending money; NEI Nastran, ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, whatever works best for you. The free version is very limited, a teaser to get you interested in FEA . As best as I can tell, it won't do what you want.

By the free version, I mean SimulationXpress, that is included in SolidWorks. With SolidWorks Premium you get the first "real" simulation capability, the same as SolidWorks Simulation. It will give you the answer you want. But you might need to go to SolidWorks Simulation Professional or Premium to get other answers you might need.

I think you have to have SolidWorks Simulation, not the free version in SolidWorks, to get the reaction forces.
