I just moved to a coworkers desk. Is there a setting for when you click down the scroll window to rotate the model? For some reason on my computer it works great and on the other it moves far to slow to be of use.

If you go to control panel under hardware you will find the mouse settings.
Check there and you should be able to adjust it.
We use the same mouse, and there are no settings execpt vertical scroll speed.
I know mine adjusts this way. Depends on the mouse you have and obviously yours
adjusts differently.
that sounds like a video card issue... do both have the same card? what are the specs on the machine?
The only brand of mouse that I know of that has a default middle button is Logitech. Check to see if you have the Logitech Setpoint application in your taskbar notification area (bottom right), and open up Setpoint. From there, you can assign different commands to specific buttons. Below is what mine looks like.
Ok here is the deal. I do have the logitech setpoint, because sometimes I use a logitech with a trackball. My other mouse is a microsoft. I see where you can set different tasks for what each button does, but that isn't the problem. The task works, it just is extremely slow. When I click on an object in SW and try to rotate the object it is extremely slow. I am trying to make it rotate at a reasonable speed.

Are the drivers the same on both systems?
Both have logitech unifying software. I have three mice that are currently working. A microsoft plug and play mouse, logitech mx revolution, and a logitech m570.
Then that sounds like a graphics issue. Or maybe if you have on vidoe card memory that isn't enough.
What are the system specs?
They work on a different computer with the exact same specs, same exact computer. The mice work 100% perfectly, except in solidworks. All three mice do the same thing when trying to rotate a part in solidworks.
I would saay you should invetigate your graphics driver like it has been suggested.
If all three have the same graphics card using the same driver then I would start there.
I figured there was a setting in SW, but didn't find it. My original instinct was correct.

Check to see if there are any newer drivers for the mouse in question.
