First, I am not the most PhotoWorks savvy guy in the world.  However, I think what I am trying to do should be possible...  After applying decals to models in our vault, whenever someone else opens the model, the decals do not appear.

Here is the steps of how I am going about applying decals.

  1. Select a face.
  2. From the PhotoWorks menu select Decals
  3. Browse to my image (usually a JPG from a local folder)
  4. Adjust any mapping settings.
  5. Click OK

As long as I open the model, the decals appear fine, even with the PhotoWorks add-in turned off.  But not for anyone else.  I have checked their View settings to make sure Decals is checked, and it is.

One of my theories was that the decals were not being embedded into the model, and that the model simply couldn't find the decal images since they were local to my machine.  So I did a little research and found the "Store PhotoWorks data in model file" option.  Sure enough, it was not checked.  So, I checked it, deleted the original labels, re-inserted them, and re-saved.  But still nobody else can see my decals.

Does anyone else have any other ideas?   I'm completely out.
