Hello All,

I am and old user (1999) trying to come up to speed with 2011.  I have gone through a lot of the tutorials and need to start this job.

I am trying to construct a off-axis parabolic mirror.  With my limited experience I throught I could make a parabolic surface/feature and then create the mirror or cylinder extending it up to the parabolic feature and then suppress the parabolic feature.  Is there a better way?  Are there any problems as I continue to create the entire assembly??
