How does one insert a cosmetic thread that starts part way down a hole? In concept, it would look like the screen shot below in a drawing. I've come up with a half-baked work around by creating a two-step hole (really part of a revolved boss) and then inserting a cosmetic thread on the desired starting edge of the the smaller cylinder.
