I have start a thread like this every year that I have attended SolidWorks World.....I creates a fun thread I think. Although I used to post this in the user group leaders forum, I am no longer leading a user group so I thought that I would post here.
I will be going, I am also hosting a hands on class. "Property Tab Builder"
I am not sure where I will be staying at this point, but it will be close to the convention center, that is for sure.
I am staying at the Sofia hotel approx 1/2-mile from the convention center. I booked my room over 1 month ago at a cost of $80/nt. I can walk to/from even in the harsh (72 degree) San Diego weather. Or take a cab and save a bunch over the "official" hotel prices.
Haven't decided if I'm going yet. My company hasn't comitted to paying any of the expenses yet. I recently checked the Sofia hotel on hotels.com and the best price was $109.00 per night. I may wait until SWW comes to the East coast again.

How do you add it?
You should be able to click the Edit button. But maybe ytou have to be logged in to your google account?
How do you change the icon that it places on the map? Mine just showed up as a placemtent marker instead of a bed.....
I think you can click Edit over on the left, then click on the icon you want to change. I've never shared a map publicly before. So let me know if it's not working. Also, feel free to add restaurants and other fun stuff you discover.
