I'm trying desparately to get any form of notifications working on our new rollout, but I have no clue how to proceed.
SMTP is totally out because IT refuses to allocate any time to helping me create the needed connection to our mail server.
Database notification was working prior to the rollout, but now there are no notifications whatsoever making it through the system. Can anyone suggest something that I can do to troubleshoot this issue? It worked fine prior to rollout, then suddenly blew up for no apparent reason.
IT also refuses to allow me access to the PDM database server or the SQL server so I need to see if I can solve the problem from my workstation.
To management, I look like a #(@*# idiot for not solving this problem... any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
