Can you define a sketch with a Geometric Tolerance like a profile with adequate datums and basic dimensions? Thank-you in advance!
GD&T callouts are defined in the part, assy or drawing not in a sketch. You do so in a sense when you make a line vertical or horizontal.
If only everything was vertical or horizontal, what about for more complex geometry or polylines? You can add linear tolerancing at a sketch level, why not GD&T? Thanks for your comment Tony.
GD&T is applied to the complete part to create a geometric & dimensional specification of the finished part.
Dimensions applied to sketch elements do not necessarily use that same construction logic. Some features used in the GD&T system may not even exist at the time a sketch is being used to create other features.
Of course, all of this is overhead! Happy Engineering!

I don't normally model like that but this was for automating as many facets of the design as I could through API controls afterwards. So there's also an external program that you run where you can enter in values, as well as toggle and select options.
To each his own my friend.. I'm sure you have your reasons. Impressive plane work.
I'm going to look more into DimXpert, new ground for me... But I think that it'll clear up alot of my questions.. seems to be a nice tool. Thanks again.
Tony is right. GD & T are only further modifiers to the already placed dimensions.
