I create one assembly with two parts.
1. Shaft
2. Key

I make a keyway in shaft part.
Make parameters in equation window in shaft part
• Key length=100
• Key width=28
• Key depth=9
I link these parameters with keyway’s sketch in shaft part.

I make a key part
Make parameters in equation window in key part
• Key length=110
• Key width=14
• Key depth=12
I link these parameters with key’s sketch.

Now in shaft part I had given the following relations with key part.
"key_length@Sketch3"="key_length@Sketch2@key.part"
"key_depth@Cut-Extrude1"="key_depth@Sketch2@key.part"
"key_width@Sketch3"=”key_width@Extrude2@key.part”

(The notes shown on left side of equation are the dimension related to shaft part and the notes shown on right side of equation are the dimension related to key part.)

According to these equations key length, key width, key depth of keyway in shaft part should be updated automatically according to the parameter

I save keyway feature (made in shaft part) into design library.
In design library this keyway goes with all of equations and parameters made in shaft part

Now when I place this keyway feature( saved in design library) again in same shaft but at different location it shows me following error.


According to dialog box
If I click on yes it place this library keyway feature on shaft with linked values and equations.
If I click on no it automatically rename library feature linked value names by adding numeric suffix to each imported linked value name.

My query is:
when I click on no it doesn’t automatically rename library feature linked value names.
Why?What is its solution?

Outcomes
