Hi to everybody,
Is there a way to control the sectionline format style?
I would like to reduce the length of the tick part of the section.
That can be driven from your standards. (ANSI, ISO,...)
You can also change it here in tools>options
Then have this setup in your template file.
I was interested to reduce the length of the tick end part of the section line.
If I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like all you have to do is
just grab the end and drag it to be shorter.
Or are you talking about a new line style other then what is supplied by Solidworks.
No just the thick part.
The section line is a dasd-dot line and terminate with a thick part.
Sorry I think the missing "h" has created the confusion.
To restate your question, you are interested in changing the length of the thick portion of the cutting plane line, but not impacint the arrows and letter distances from the model edge?
You can't change the bold (thick) length directly, but you can create your own line style to use instead,
Or just change to a different Line Font. I use the Phantom font.
