DimXpert Dropping Schemes

I have a question and would apreciate as much feedback from the community as possible. We have had an on going issue with DimXpert dropping dimensioning schemes from part files. By this I mean we would develop a GD&T tolerance to completly define a part, save the file and at same later point in time toggle the DimXpert tab and the scheme would be gone. I'm wanting to know if anybody else out there is or has had the same thing happen to them. Even if you haven't it would be interesting to know how many organizations are using the DimXpert module to use GD&T with their models.

Tim,

I think you can see from the lack of response to your note and the the general lack of posts in this forum that DimXpert and TolAnalyst aren't used too much. I suspect it is because they aren't quite ready for prime time. The last time I tried, which was some time ago, they didn't really work for the type of stuff we do.

I have spoken to our VAR, and they've told us that we are implementing MBD (Model Based Definition) to an extent that they haven't seen with any of their other customers. I guess I am still somewhat surprised by the absolute lack of response. While I can except the fact that it might not be ready for prime time, I still get a little hot under the collar due to the fact that when they first released the DimXpert all the tools that we were using to implement our MBD system were de-activated, forcing us to move over to the new module. It turns out that Solidworks was able to fix the files that had 'lost' their schemes, so the data was in the file still just wasn't being displayed anymore. They tell me that they can't reproduce the problem using their files so its not a legitimate bug, but can't tell me what's wrong with mine so that I can avoid the problem in the future. More than a little frustrating to say the least.
