I am not experienced with design checker, but I know if you seelct the three
arrows on the left side of the BOM and then hover over them it will show you which
items are ballooned. How that links into the design checker I am not sure.

Well that's just downright embarrasing! No need for design checker to verify you've ballooned everything! My ignorance rears it's ugly head again.
Any chance there's a similar trick for weldment cutlists?
Oh, don't be so hard on yourself. We are all learning.
I am not super familiar with weldment cutlist, but I am cautioning on the side of "NO".
But after saying that are you talking about the cut list telling you if it is listing all of the weldments?
With that said, it sounds like it would make a good ER.
I've been learning since 98+. CSWP in 2001, CSWI in 2009. Still manage to come accross things I should have known a long time ago. But like my dad used to tell me, "The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask".
