Hello All,

We uncovered a couple issues that are related and I assume others have too. I thought I should post this to see what others know.

1) When using the hole wizard (in a part file), when placing a counter bored hole for example, the depth is driven from the surface selected (makes sense). Now if that surface gets cut away later in the design tree and the hole is called out on the drawing (using "hole callout") the depth will be specified as entered in the wizard dialog box (table) and SW does not account for the fact that the surface is now gone.

This issue could have cost us several thousand $$$$ this week had our vendor not caught the mistake before making the parts....

The second issue is similar but different.

2) We have started to use "Move Face" to make pre-plating part configurations which works well. However, like the issue above, dimensions on drawings that have been inserted from model items do not update since the value is taken from the original feature and later in the feature tree, the move face feature is present. Manually placed dimensions do not have this issue an update just as they should.

(See Scott, here is another reason to not use Model insert dimensions )
