how to cut the sheet thru sketch & add 90 flange equal to cutting portion
Create the slit and use sketched bend or link both the dimensions.
Create an edge flange and turn on the offset function. Simple
After re-reading your request, I see that a sketched bend would be the way to go. This is one of the functionalities that I wish SW had.
Cut the notch where the flange is needed.
Use the Edge Flange at the inner edge of the notch. but adjust the profile sketch to create a tiny (.000004") gap at each end.
EDIT: Just discovered the gap is no longer required. Or was it never required and my memory is playing tricks again?
The length of the flange & or depth of the notch is dependent on the K-factor (or BA) being used, in combination with the Flange Postion options.
A quick method to determine the flange length is to Flatten the part and measure the distance between the end of the flange and the end of sheet, then adjust the flange length to suit.
