Hi

I'm relatively new to SolidWorks - although I have been learning a lot over the last few weeks there is one problem that is still causing me problems...

As the title implies I'm trying to merge two (or more) joined sketch entities into a single entity. The most basic example of this would be to draw two seperate lines, connected together at one end (of each). After doing this is there anyway to 'combine' the lines, creating a single line, rather than two seperate lines? I ask because some features, such as the boundary/fill surface feature, allow more edge constraints (ie. 'Tangent to Face')  when a single entity is used, but these options disappear if an open loop, or entities selected using the Selection Manager are selected.

Any help on this would be much appreciated,

Thanks,

Chris
