Motion analysis: Faster than 1,000 fps yet?

I am currently using SW2009. Motion analysis is limited to 1,000 calculations per second. This seems like an arbitrary limitation. Has this been increased in 2012?

The new limit for FPS in Motion Analysis is now 1E9.
