Solidworks Professional not Premium.
Check the license usage tab to see who has the licenses checked out.
I would have the IT guys restart the license server to flush any stuck licenses. I would also restart your compter as well.
There are no licenses checked out. I will discuss with out IT tomorrow. Thanks for the info.
It sounds like your license server is on the older version or wasn't activated after it was installed. Ask your I.T. Department to confirm that they upgraded and activated it.
It turns out that our IT forgot to activate after upgrade. Thanks for all the advice, all is well now.

This started occurring right after I upgraded my desktop to 2012.
The web page referenced above does not exist for me.
I had our IT department to update the license manager but it still does not work.
What is next to check?
There is not a log file in C:\Users\dnicholas\Documents\SW Log Files
I am running solidworks premium.
I have attached a file of the license borrowing tab of the license manager and it shows that i have 2 standard lic with 0 available.
There currently is not anyone using the software.
