Is it possible to show a sketch in my drawing that was created in my model?
Yes, in the Feature Tree of your drawing find the view you want to show the sketch in, expand the model and find the sketch. RMB select show and then make sure you have sketches set as visible in you View settings for the document.
In addition - (five years later) with SWorks 2015, sketched lines can be selected for line weight and color change as well .... thanks
Make sure sketches are turned on here as well.
Thanks. I got it to work. Dam you gus are fast!
Actually now in today's version for the drawing it is:
It took me a while to find it.
Everything else here was valid.
I find that showing the sketch isn't usually the best way to go. Sometimes I don't need the whole sketch. Usually the line font is NFG.
My solution is to make the sketch visible, then use Convert Entities in the drawing to put curves on the drawing view. After that, I turn the model sketch off again. Now I have lines that I can extend or trim, or change font, style, and layer.
That's a good idea. Very helpful.
