I was able to automaticlly have my dimensions green by changing this in "tools/options/system options/colors".
How am I able to set colors for any hidden lines and centerlines other then using layers?
Welcome to the forum.
under the line format toolbar you will find this command.
Other then this, maybe a macro and layers there are no other choices.
Thanks. I ended up finding how to control the hidden line color in the "..system options/color" but had no luck finding how to automatically make center lines a certain color.
For some reason I thought you were talking about sketched lines. That is whay I said what I did.
Wasn't thinking about model hidden edges.
No problem. Let me know if you ever figure out how to automatically have your center line and hole center lines a different color when drafting.
I will, but like I said before, short of layers and maybe creating a macro,
I think we are stuck with these choices.
I think creating a macro would be the fastest way. Do you know how I can easly select all the center lines in my drawing document? I need to figure this out in order to get the macro to work.
No, but I think if you were to pose this question in the API portion someone from
there could write one for you.
Sorry, but the API portion of SW is not my fortea.
There's a macro around that checks for all centerlines and centermarks on a drawing and puts them on a layer.
The layer you want it on has to be edited in the macro but it's very straight forward thanks to the annotations in it.
I believe I got it from 3Dcentral.
If you can't find it, let me know and I'll post it/email it.
The thing is that the centerline and the hidden line are really making the gap between the micro and macro lines and it would be very useful to be printed. The user just have to be sure that while printing the documents related to this, does not have the Epson error code 0x97
