i have found that when i make a geo of a sheetmetal part that some of the parts not all of them flip to make the part flatten. lets say i draw on the top view and have four edge-flanges all bending up and i export it, it gives me the geo correct so that it the flat of the geo says it bends up. lest say i do the same but make the lips bend down and i export is, you can see how solidworks flip the part and give the geo the same as the lips to be bend up.

Is there any way i can draw up a part that i can be certain then the serface i want to be my top cerface when i cut the part is at the top? or is there any way when i export the part that i can those the face on the sheetmetal part what i want as my top (cutting cerface face).

Any help would be much apriciated as this hase cost me a few thousand bucks allready.
