i am doing a static analysis, it gives a different result if i put it on or not, im guessing i should not be putting in on in a static simulation right?
Gravity is not included in a static analysis unless you add it as an External Load. You do not have to add a separate Force, you just need to turn on the Gravity force.
Well that depends on whether gravity is relevent to your analysis or not. If your model will be acted upon by gravity in a noticeable way in the "real" world than it would we wise to include it.
if it's a static model, gravity is already taken in account therefore i doubt verry much i need to add gravity over it
gravity is included, support a part run simul;ation and you will see deflection
Are you using Express or full Simulation. When I create an analysis in Simulation that has no External Load defined, meaning no Force or Gravity defined, than it will not solve the analysis.
youre right im wrong gravity isnt included in static model, you need to add it
