Hello all.

I am an Administrator and I tried installing Solidworks 2011 x64 on Win7 x64 Ult.

Fully patched, .Net 4

The installation would go seems like all the way to the very end. and error out, and revert.

no error indicator.

Event viewer shows Error 1935, The KB reference point to a problem with WinXP windows installer.

So the KB doesn't apply.

Then I logged the installer and found Error 1603

I've tried everything from fresh install to upgrade.

no dice.

Any help? or how to I see what is causing the failed process and revert ?

Attached is the complete logfile for the msi package.

I've attached a error log file which is MUCH less in size than the first one.

Tried Chris's suggestion, no dice.

I do have the ability for you to remote in if anyone want to take a stab at it.
