Hi All,

I have searched the forums and have not been able to find a resolution for this....

We work with a lot of flexible assemblies and whenever a part in the model is in a different orientation than the drawing it messes up the entire drawing.

I have tried locking the position in the drawing (right click menu on view) but that does not seem to work. I have also unchecked Automatic view update but the views still update whenever the configuration changes... Unfortunately we can not lock all of the flexible mates in the model just to correct this drawing issue we have.

Is there a way to lock the (originally created) drawing view regardless of the orientation of the parts in the assembly model?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
