Mating two racks to one gear.

Hi,

 

I am ussing two RackPinion mates.  However, the rack that is on bottom follows the motion of the top rack, regardless of whether or not the reverse button is used.  The bottom rack goes agaisnt the way that the gear is rotating.

Correct Answer

I haven't tried anything here, but if you are having issues, are you using the bore of the spur gear for both mates?  If so maybe try the other gear rack with the shaft or something - just something other than the same thing as the first.
