Just want to know that what are the conditions in which a document get a 'White star in the green circle' icon in the local view rather than a icon ' white line through a blue circle'.
The white star in the green circle would appear when,
1) A document is added into the vault for the first time
2) If a document's reference has been added / removed.
Hope this helps.
1) White star in the green circle ?
This is a new document or new document reference.
2) White line through a blue circle ?
The document does not exist in the vault.
If a file is showing a White star icon,
this implies it has to be checked in the vault for the first time ?
just clear me the practical situation when a file will get a white star in a Green circle icon in the Local view. .
Here is a copy of an info card that came with PDM Workgroup a few years ago.
Hope it helps!
