As shown in the attached picture file, I created a vase using a revolve feature (line and an arc to revolve to create a conic and spherical surfaces). I sketched a profile (a circle) sketch and a path sketch (lines and arcs) to create a handle by a sweep feature. I want the ends to be extended and cut by the vase surface, but it doesn't work even with the Align with end faces" option on (there are still gaps at the ends of the sweep). Why not? I am using SW 2011 SP2.1.
