I am trying to control the depth of the thread for different lengths on a revolved feature on a custom fastener. How to add Cosmetic Thread to the design table for different Blind depths? I Tried adding $@Cosmetic_Thread1, and D@Cosmetic_Thread1 $D@Cosmetic_Thread1 and a few other guesses, but I get the error box ...

"Column heading "D1@Cosmetic_Thread1" contains an invalid feature name "Cosmetic_Thread1"."

Maybe I could do it is an added plane and a sketch, but then I would need to control the plane location in the design table ie the "offset distance" of the plane. I don't know how to do that either. Cannot seem to make a sketch work with cosmetic thread.

So the only way maybe to a very tiny feature to the model as the starting location of the cosmetic thread.
