I an looking for some information on the differences / benefits of running a Nonlinear Static vs. a Nonlinear Dynamic analysis. Under what circumstances is it preferable to run the dynamic as opposed to the static option. Are there any examples I can be pointed to showing the use of each (especially the dynamic option)? Thanks in advance.
