i tried to download the suitable type graphics card driver from http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/videocardtesting.html but i don't find my grarhics card type >>>>?????

look for (search) for "RealHack", it will be found as a Rar file.........that will trick your card into runnig RealView. This was posted before but I dont know what thread it was in.

My problem is quite straightforward. I have a computer so new that.
1. Solidworks has no driver or testing for it.
2. Even if #1 gets sorted, SW2009 that I'm running will not have the graphics card in it's internal list.
Essentially I want to get realview running on a card that will have no problems doing it (quadro k2000M) if solidworks will recognise it. But I am also running sw2009 64 bit on win7. Which it was never intended to run on.
It is not possible with this card: You need a FireGL card (ATI) or Quadro (NVidea).
Your only solution is to get an approved card as the link you provided says.
For Dell laptops: "Precision" is thier offering. You will notice they are more expensive: because they carry a suitable card.
