I had created a bill of material on a drawing. I was able to manually enter data when all of a sudden the table became grayed out and would not let me enter anything.
Did I hit something by mistake? Is there a way to fix whatever I did?

Go to Tools > Options > System Options > Advanced.
Under Dismissed messages, look out for a message that say something similar to "editing the cell will break the link". Check the message and click Ok. Now try editing the cell again.
I had just figured that out and your reply came in, thanks!
Actually you might have ticked the option "Don't ask me again" option for that message and then you're not able to edit the cell as you need to click yes for the confirmation message on editing the cell.
