Does anyone have a macro designed that will save and assembly similar in fashion to the way that the 'SaveAs with References' does?
You should be able to to convert the macro listed above to do a batch operation where in you need to pick the original location and final location (or can add them in the code) and run the macro to do thepack and go of the files.
Can't you use Pack and Go??
If you need a Pack and Go macro, check this: https://forum.solidworks.com/docs/DOC-1471
Yes, but my end game is to be able to replicate the same process for multiple assemlbies, without having to duplicate the motions. I would like to just indicate where the assembly is located, where I would like to place it and be on to the next assembly once the routine is done.
Thank you. Your efforts are much appreciated.
Would you happen to have this in VB format?
How many assemblies you have in one folder. You might want to look at this macro also: Pack and Go an Assembly (VBA)
It varies; we may have as many as 10 to 20 sub-assemblies or more. Thanks again.
