Would like to know if anyone has found a way to link the part description that is tied to a single part or assembly in the "Configuration properties feature manager" under custom properties, to the title block in a solidworks drawing?

We have our standard company formats for A and B sheets setup with normal info set in the sheets.

When you open a part or assembly the drawing number or (what the part is named and saved  as ) apears in the title block.

It is linked to the drawing name that is inserted on the drawing layout. Using  $PRP:"SW-FILE NAME"

We have gone into edit sheet and tried to link the information that is filled out under the custom properties when the part is being developed with no success.

Has anyone found a way to link that information to the part directly so you don't have to go to properties when you start a new drawing and fill in all the same information again, by going thru (file/properties/custom) window? Or is there a way to transfer the info. from the custom properties to the summary info other than single line cut and paste?
