I have an assembly and if I isolate a part within the assembly and then exit isolate without making any changes to the assembly, part of the assembly will explode. When I do a rebuilt the parts go back in place. Any help is greatly appreciated

Not sure what is going on. I use Isolate all the time and I have never seen it do that. Isolate is tied in with Display States in that it just hides and shows stuff so there shouldn't be anything that moves parts around. Try the same thing with software OGL turned on and see what you get. Does it do this on all assy's? What happens if you reboot the machine? Anyone else see this?

I have the same problem usually on certain assy's,
it does not happen all the time, sometimes it would very on what would "re-locate"
I will check to see if it is fully mated.
I can tell you that the parts that move, there are liner patterns.

Hi Mukesh,
Are you isolating more then one component? Which one exactly are you trying to isolate?
Are there any exploded steps associated with the isolated component (s)?
Not like that should have anything to do with it. I personally have never experienced this.
