Hi everybody,

I recently have been asked to find out dimensions for cabling in our heavy equipment by my boss. So after hours of searching i gave up and came here. Yes i can do tubing yes i can do electrical, but that takes time to learn to do properly and a pain in the ass.

So Ladies and Gents, I Come to you for some advice.

How would i be able to draw 3d make points (coincedences) and draw on all 3 levels from any point i want. So in the end i will have a spider web of isometric activity in my assembly.

Can I create planes on all the surfaces i want to draw? so then i can draw 3d? Or Whatever? Suggestions???

The reason i need 3d so then i can add up each line with a dimension and know the total length of Cable i need for the project. Much more easier than elegent but it gets the job done. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

I await your response...
