I'm having some trouble with the selection features in SW R2010.  I want to place a mate between two faces and I can't select one of the faces.  The assembly is a cable with a rod end screwed onto it.  I can select the face on the rod end, as it's "showing".  The cable end, however is not "showing", as it's buried inside the rod end.  I select the face of the rod end, then put my mousie over the face of the cable end, right-click and click "Select Other".  SW gives me a list of "possible" faces, and when I put my mousie over an item on the list, SW is SUPPOSED to highlight the face, and turn the item in the list blue so I can tell which one it is... and it doesn't highlight.  Additionally, no matter which face in the list I select, SW does... nothing.  The selected face does not appear in the "mate Selections box, like I hadn't selected it... What's going on???
