I have multiple drawings that reference the same weldment (steel trusswork). One of the drawings is a strut cutting detail, detailing the angled cuts so the shop can precut the truss members. I only want the tube members to show on this cut list. I don't want any flats to show on the drawing, or in the cutlist. I want all weldment members( tube and flats) to show in the actual truss drawing. How can I exclude a cut list item from one drawing, but not the other?

you can create a configuration of your weldment to only show the tube members.

You can use relative view to show some bodies (members) but not others. Go to Insert - Drawing View - Relative to Model. You can also hide items in your cutlist. This is a pretty manual process, but it might get you what you need.

The hide cutlist item button is a bit tricky to find. You need to click in a cell and then click on the button shown below:

you can also experiment with creating configurations for each iteration you want the weldment cut list in the drawing to show and then RMB the cut list items that you do not want shown in t he active configuration and choose "exclude from cut list".
