I'm using blocks in model files.
My blocks are stored in a design library folder on our network drive.
When a block gets updated I would like to manually update it in my model file's sketch.
My current process is to open the model file.
Edit the sketch and delete the block.
Then close the model.
Open the model again.
Edit the sketch and insert the new block.
Of course I have to recreate any relationships I have to block.
If I do not close the model file before inserting the block I will get the original block that seems to be stuck in memory.
If the change is not to difficult I use the edit block which is a big help. But many blocks in our library were not fully defined and editing them is sometimes more difficult.
Any ideas?
