Looking for some advice:
I have a sheet metal part that I have designed. I need to design a mating part that will be applied to the sheet metal which will be 1/8" neoprene with adhesive backing.
Any advice on the best way to attack this? I know how to get the other part but I'm not sure I am using the best approach.

I did it as an assembly.....just wanted to see how others would do it. I added the part and will post my result after I get it done.
I guess I should add this question....how do we get two parts to unfold together?
Configurations in the assembly, one open with both parts having the flat pattern unsuppressed, the other configuration with the flat patterns suppressed.
This would be an assembly in our shop, model it as an assembly.
