What ram does your system have?
Also, what graphics card are you using? Have you update to the latest approved driver on the solidworks website?
I'm using 6 GB ram.
I actually haven't got a graphics card, apparently it's using the processor for graphics.
I downloaded the SP4.0 when I installed solidworks, where can I download drivers?
I've solved the problem by downloading new drivers from Intel.
I guess these black screens occure by cause of the graphic card (in this case processor), updating the drivers for the hardware this type of problem could be a quick solution.
